This particular building has been serving as a hotel for over a century, with its origins dating back to 1893. It has a rich history, having once been the ab of the legendary governor of Louisiana, Huey P. Long. Presently, it is a part of the prestigious Waldorf Astoria Hotel brand. In the 1970s, Chester, the proprietor, installed an aluminum pool on the premises, which was subsequently upgraded to a stainless steel one in 2014.
