What are the advantages of Factory-Built Stainless Pools or Spas over Traditional "Stick Built"Quality Control: Controlled conditions ensure precise specifications and rigorous standards. Efficiency: Off-site manufacturing reduces construction time through parallel processing. Cost Savings: Economies of scale and streamlined assembly lower expenses. Safety: Factory environments, equipped with specialized machinery, minimize risks. Consistency: Prefabrication ensures standardized components, reducing errors. Weather Independence: Unaffected by external factors, maintaining a predictable schedule. Flexibility: Modular construction allows adaptation to diverse project requirements. Sustainability: Minimizes waste and energy consumption with efficient production methods and recycled materials. Overall, factory pre-building stainless pools or spas over occupied spaces is the optimal choice due to their quality, efficiency, cost savings, safety, consistency, weather resilience, flexibility, and sustainability.

Why not build a traditional concrete pool?Weight: Stainless steel pools offer several advantages over concrete pools, including being 75% lighter. The associated cost savings with stainless steel pools can be realized at every stage of the structure, from the rooftop to the foundation. Because stainless steel pools are lighter, they require less structural support, reducing the materials and labor needed for related construction Durability: Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, rust, and weathering, ensuring long-term structural integrity in rooftop environments exposed to the elements. Installation Time: Prefabricated stainless pools can be installed more quickly than concrete pools, minimizing construction time and disruptions to building operations. Customization: Stainless steel pools offer versatile design options, including various shapes, sizes, and finishes, allowing for customization to fit rooftop space and architectural aesthetics. Maintenance: Stainless steel pools require less maintenance than concrete pools, as they are easier to clean and resistant to staining, algae growth, and surface deterioration. Temperature Regulation: Stainless steel's thermal conductivity facilitates efficient temperature regulation in rooftop pools, helping to maintain comfortable water temperatures year-round with reduced energy consumption. Longevity: Stainless steel pools have a longer lifespan than concrete pools, as they are not prone to cracking, leaking, or degradation over time, resulting in lower long-term maintenance and repair costs. Flexibility: Stainless steel pools can be relocated or repurposed more easily than concrete pools, providing flexibility for future building renovations or changes in pool use.

Is Stainless easy to maintain? There are several maintenance advantages to using stainless steel in various applications: Corrosion Resistance: Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, rust, and staining, making it an ideal choice for environments with high humidity, moisture, or exposure to harsh chemicals. Durability: Stainless steel is incredibly durable and resistant to wear and tear, ensuring a longer lifespan compared to other materials. It can withstand heavy use and frequent cleaning without losing its integrity. Ease of Cleaning: Stainless steel surfaces are smooth and non-porous, making them easy to clean and sanitize. They do not harbor bacteria or other pathogens, reducing the risk of contamination. Aesthetic Appeal: Stainless steel has a sleek and modern appearance that enhances the visual appeal of any space. It maintains its luster over time, even with regular cleaning and use. Low Maintenance: Stainless steel requires minimal maintenance compared to other materials. It does not require painting, sealing, or refinishing, saving time and money on upkeep. Temperature Resistance: Stainless steel can withstand a wide range of temperatures, making it suitable for both hot and cold environments without warping or cracking. Environmental Sustainability: Stainless steel is 100% recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly choice. It can be recycled repeatedly without losing its properties, reducing the need for new raw materials.

What does the Contractor need to provide to support the Pool?To support the pool, the Contractor needs to provide a flat concrete slab or structural beams located at 4’0” on center. Chester fabricates a welded stainless channel system underneath the pool to accommodate any changes in depth or configuration. Additionally, vessels can be customized to be suspended from the perimeter or supported by a variety of engineered support systems.

What type of finishes do you provide?Chester provides a diverse array of tile finishes, limited only by the designer's creativity. Our offerings encompass waterjet cut inlays, mosaics, blends, and glass tiles. All installations are conducted by Chester Technicians utilizing a specialized two-part epoxy adhesive and grout meticulously crafted for stainless steel applications. It's important to note that while Chester can offer a variety of finishes, the allowable range of colors and slip resistance may be subject to regulations established by State and Local Health Departments. Compliance with these regulations is crucial, even if they may constrain our creative options.
